Regeneration is a long-term game and developing a succession and progression strategy is crucial to any successful regeneration initiative. This seminar provides an overview of succession, progression and continuity strategies, covering areas such as consultation with funding bodies; designing change processes and procedures; transferring ideas, information and assets; continuity and delivery; institutional learning; extending portfolios and activity areas.Evaluation and review play a key role and the seminar discusses the basic principles of monitoring and evaluation, the key elements, and potential areas of concern. The last part of the session looks at developing and implementing succession strategies, such as the key considerations, development of strategy, establishing the approach, implementation, barriers and solutions.
