Strategies for Sustainable Communities and Regeneration

Seminar Content

If Regeneration is to deliver sustainable communities, the identification and implementation of strategy are key to achieving this goal. This seminar highlights the basic principles of strategic activity such as strategy building, forecasts, strategic vision, strategic plans and implementation programmes. Through interactive workshops, participants are encouraged to identify the key strategic issues within a regeneration activity and understand the principle reasons for strategy preparation. Strategic monitoring and evaluation play a crucial role in achieving success in regeneration and, with reference to best practice case studies, delegates are expected to develop a better awareness of how to evaluate and monitor strategies put in place.Participants on this seminar gain a greater depth of understanding about strategic issues and better appreciation of the value of getting strategy right.
