First Series – The Aspects of Regeneration

The first five seminars concentrate on key topics and themes and provide an introduction to the main elements within regeneration. Within these five seminars we look at elements such as:

  • Who are the community, why work with them?
  • What are the key economic drivers?
  • The impacts of training and labour markets.
  • What role can physical renewal play?
  • How to make developments more sustainable?

  • Economic Development and Funding
  • Training and Labour Markets
  • Property and Physical Regeneration
  • Working with Communities
  • Environmental Impact and Sustainable Development

Second Series - The Processes of Regeneration

The second five seminars look at the processes needed when delivering regeneration. These seminars look into how regeneration happens, covering areas such as:

  • How and why are strategies developed?
  • The importance of exit and succession strategies.
  • How do you manage a regeneration project?
  • What are the key issues around partnerships?
  • How can data be analysed and used effectively?

Seminars include:

  • Strategies for Sustainable Communities and Regeneration
  • Regeneration and its Management
  • Partnerships and Engagement
  • Research, Intelligence and how they feed into Performance
  • Succession and Progression Strategies
