Gordon is an experienced Trainer/Mediator/Facilitator working with organisations such as Mediation Northern Ireland (MNI) and the Parades Commission for Northern Ireland.

Gordon is a fluent French speaker and worked in France for nearly 15 years as a community/youth work/trainer. His main role was working in interface areas between North African minority communities and indigenous French people. It was here that he first cut his mediation skills

He has worked all over the world, from Nepal where he was commissioned to write a report and train a large NGO in Peace and Reconciliation skills, to Israel to train Israeli and Palestinian Youth workers in conflict management skills.

Currently, Gordon is the Community Affairs Manager for Queens University Belfast. He also lectures and trains on conflict in the university.

Gordon currently teaches on the BURA Regeneration Training Programme on the Working with Commuinites module in Northern Ireland with Professor Richard Farnell.
