The BURA 75 Sessions - Get better at 75, get better outcomes from 75
Would the world be a better place without having to negotiate section 75 agreements? Maybe, but modifying the system seems slow progress, so it looks like it is here to stay.
BURA has set up the S75 sessions to help developers, local authorities, RSLs, community stakeholders and those who play important advisory roles, to get better at S75 negotiation and get better outcomes from S75.
Using a variety methods, from speed-networking sessions, training seminars, mock negotiations, conferences or online forums, BURA will connect those different parties involved to reveal their different objectives and constraints and explore good practice and how to get better results from Section 75.
You will meet peers from the regeneration world that you might end up meeting again over the negotiation table, if you haven’t done so already.
Join the BURA 75 Sessions in Scotland
What is it?
A networking and learning forum tailored for those working in, or that have an interest in the Scottish section 75 - from all sides of the negotiating table. Learn the constraints, objectives and expectations of other organisations at speed-networking events, seminars and training, plus policy updates and think-pieces.
Who is it for?
Developers, local authorities, RSLs, community stakeholders and advisors either working in Scotland, or those that would like to learn/share information from those working in Scotland.
When are the events?
We have a series of initial 'speed-networking' events planned, for early October in central Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Join the Sessions? If you would like to be part of the sessions, would like to be informed of the network, or nominate someone, please send details to Stephen Gallagher.
