BURA Section 106 - Past Events
To date, BURA have held 3 successful Speed-Networking sessions, in London and Leeds. These sessions, free to attend, have each attracted up to 30 delegates from organisations the represent Private, Public and Community sectors.
A testament to the Speed-Networking format, delegates gained a useful insight in to the constraints and objectives of others working in their sector, but also perhaps more usefully those of other sectors. BURA has found that these sessions have provided a great initial platform for 90 second meetings to take place that would never have been conceived otherwise;
"I made in the region of 5 – 6 useful contacts who I consider I will be in touch with again in the future"
"Thanks for arranging such an inventive and successful event"
Lesa Dryburgh - England's Northwest Fellow on the Clore Leadership Programme 07/08
What now?
Building upon the success of the first 3 sell-out events BURA has aims to break further in to Northern England with its next session to be held in Liverpool (see the Session 4 page toward the left of the screen), and to tap into the expertise of the Welsh negotiations, holding session number 5 in Cardiff (see the Session 5 page also towards the left of the screen.
Both the Liverpool and Cardiff Sessions will follow the same tested format to gain the most possible out of the evenings.
If you would like to be involved with these sessions, or indeed the growing Section 106 Network please contact Stephen Gallagher using the link at the bottom of the page.
