The BURA 106 Sessions - Get better at 106, get better outcomes from 106
Would the world be a better place without having to negotiate section 106 agreements? Maybe, but modifying the system seems slow progress, so it looks like it is here to stay.
BURA has set up the S106 sessions to help developers, local authorities, RSLs, community stakeholders and those who play important advisory roles, to get better at S106 negotiation and get better outcomes from S106.
Using a variety methods, from speed-networking sessions, training seminars, mock negotiations, conferences or online forums, BURA will connect those different parties involved to reveal their different objectives and constraints and explore good practice and how to get better results from Section 106.
You will meet peers from the regeneration world that you might end up meeting again over the negotiation table, if you haven’t done so already.
