Since its inception Derek Harding, Programme Director, Margate Renewal Partnership, has acted as chair. BURA feels the time is now right to develop a steering group to support Derek and help influence the future direction of the network.
The Steering Group consists of:
Eddie Bridgeman, Projects Director, BURA
Nicholas Churchill, Economic Development Projects Officer, Canterbury City Council
Jessica Courtney Bennett, Seaside Network Manager, BURA
Damien Flood, Development Director, Modus Properties
Peter Hampson, Director, BRADA
James Howard, Associate Director, Urban Splash
Tomasz Kozlowski, Director of Development, 1st East
Pam McHale, Head of Area Policy and Partnerships at SEEDA
Jackie Potter, Head of Regeneration, Blackpool Council
Nicola Precious, Senior Officer, Coastal Action Zone
The Steering Group will meet up to four times a year to discuss ongoing network activities, be called on for advice plus represent the network when it comes to media relations and events. It is essential for the Seaside Network to establish a more coherent and formal public mouth piece that, based on the networks expertise, knowledge and diversity, will ensure that the real issues uncovered in the last year are acknowledged, discussed and decided upon at the highest level.
