Seaside Network Visit
Hastings, East Sussex
The Seaside Network recently facilitated a visit to Hastings for the West Sussex 5 Town Network. The 5 Town Network, which includes the coastal towns Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Worthing, Selsea and Shoreham, were interested in learning about the 5 point plan adapted by Hastings Borough Council and learn about some key projects.
The afternoon tour was hosted by Alan Blackwell from Sea Space who took delegates to see the Media centre and the Innovation Centre. Both act as small business incubators in the town and have been specially designed to be as flexible as possible to encourage new economic activity in the town.
The newly formed Hastings Pier Trust met the group at the pier for a special guided tour which included an update on the Trust, their plans for the future.
