Elsdale II

The UK's inland waterway network is undergoing a remarkable renaissance. Waterways are increasingly being recognised for the value they add to developments undertaken in their vicinity. Projects or schemes that in turn add value back to the waterways and enhance the public's experience of them can help create sustainable and inclusive communities where people want to live, work and visit.

Lancaster WaterbusTen award categories allow for all aspects of the work being undertaken on our waterways, from small-scale community-inspired environmental initiatives to multi million pound area-based regeneration, to receive fair and unbiased consideration. Recognition through these prestigious awards marks our winners out as truly inspirational leaders in the waterway renaissance.

Entries must be received by 30 September 2008.
