Open for entries until 15 October 2008.
Unlike some awards, BURA’s awards are free to enter. Any person or organisation directly concerned with the project or scheme may submit an entry. If you are not directly connected to the project, please check that project represenatives are happy to enter as if they are successful in the first stages they will need to show one or two of our judges around the project. You may want to offer to be a referee for the project.
How to enter
To enter, first download the Entry Template and save it somewhere on your computer to complete at your own pace up to the closing date of October 2008.
The form asks for:
- Basic project or scheme information and contact details
- A concise description of the project or scheme
- An explanation of how the project or scheme fulfils each of the award criteria (see the Notes for Guidance for full decriptions for each crtieria).
We strongly recommend that you download the Notes for Guidance and use these to help you complete your entry. They are useful prompt to help you think of all the work your community project does and will ensure you address the type of information that the Assessment Panel are looking for in the entries.
When you have finished completing the entry form, return to the BURA website to submit your entry through the online web-form. The web-form will ask you to complete some basic contact information and will then prompt you to add your saved Entry Template. At this stage you may also add up to three pictures to support your entry.
Completed entries must be received no later than 15 October 2008 . If at any stage you have problems submitting your application please call 020 7539 4030 and ask to speak to a member of the Awards Team and we will do our best to talk you through it.
